STATIC a brand new BBC sitcom

Written by 8 out of 10 Cats captain Rob Beckett and Shaun Pye, all about twenty-something Rob (Rob Beckett) who jacks in a job in London to move back in with his parents (Alison Steadman and Phil Davis) in their southeast London family home. Except what they’ve failed to tell him is that they’ve just sold the family home and moved to a static caravan park in Margate.

The show will be recorded at Pinewood Studios on the 15th August at 1900 hrs.

The company arranging the tickets, SRO Audiences, have guaranteed a very limited number of tickets to the live studio recording for members of my site! These will allocated in the order that they receive applications with the word ‘CARAVAN’

To apply for Fan Club tickets, visit the SRO Audiences site, then click ‘Current Shows’ and scroll down to STATIC. In order to get the limited members’ tickets, use the codeword CARAVAN in the ‘Comments and other information’. Remember, I can’t guarantee you a ticket – but if you use the codeword you’ll have a much better chance!

Beckett’s back with a brand-new show of funnies and he’s taking on the big issues like Kit Kats and flatbread!  Star of BBC1’s Live At The Apollo, Would I Lie To You?, Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Cats Does Countdown, BBC2’s Mock The Week, ITV’s Play To The Whistle, and ITV2’s Celebrity Juice. Rob is also a host of Dave’s podcast, The Magic Sponge, alongside Jimmy Bullard and Ian Smith, as well as hosting Absolute Radio’s hit show, Rock n Roll Football.

“There are hints that his eyes are set firmly on arenas that are as big as his mouth of his”

“Relentlessly smiley, perpetually grinning Londoner whose unshowy, unpretentious but thoroughly funny shtick has every chance of winning him a big audience…”

“Lights up the stage with his magnetic personality (not to mention the dazzle from his teeth)”
